I remember well the 60s and 70s also. The ...Chris,<br />I remember well the 60s and 70s also. The freshness of the Spirit that spoke to us as young adults was so lively, and we were so open to listen and learn. It was some of the first times when I DID hear Him speak to me, as Virkler now models for us again. But then I grew up, and became more professional, and tried to 'fit in' to traditionalism, and to follow the rules. Sometimes, as John Eldredge writes in his books, God wants us to step away from the traditional rules, be Wild at Heart, and listen again to the fresh speaking of the Spirit. I'm glad Virkler's experience has awakened that part of us that longs to hear God speak to us directly, to our heart, soul and minds again. Thanks for sharing with us.Pegnoreply@blogger.com
