C02's in the Land of Enchantment - Part 2

In this Part 2 of a Two-Part conversation, Peg Batcheller, a Church Planter in Albuquerque, New Mexico, continues to share stories of the effect that C02 has had on her and others who have been practicing these two disciplines.

  1. Peg, this is so good. Thanks for the reminder and the revelation (because it's both those things) that when we listen we will hear. It's also true that when we look we will see, when we seek we will find, when we journey we will arrive, when we eat we will be fed, when we drink we will be refreshed. If we don't listen, how will we hear? Looking at a meal doesn't feed me! Will I reach my destination if I just sit at home and think about it?

Sean and I have been learning to be a CO2 since early December, and we've found VIRKLER more and more useful. We plan to meet this evening to review what we've been hearing over a period of time - what has the Lord been saying to us this month. What was he saying in January? In December? We're expecting to find some sort of pattern, a narrative.

But also, as you said, this is relational and is beginning to spill out into our day to day spontaneous living with others, both believers and unbelievers. It's exciting! Church is more fluid and 'right now' than I ever imagined.
