Teaching high school wrestlers to hear God's voice

"I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened..." Eph. 1:18

Once Coach Lowden understood how to "fix his eyes on Jesus", he began teaching the members of his wrestling team how to do it. Here's their story.

  1. Thanks for your stories, Coach, these are great! I come from a wrestling family in Iowa... My dad and his brother in the 1930s, my brothers in the 1970's (taking 1st in state in HS & 2nd in nation in college). I can just see you wrestling with Jesus, and 'taking him to the mat.' What a refreshing way to be real with him, and to meet him there daily. I love it!

  2. Coach Bill,
As one who was born in Iowa and had a roommate in college who took first place in State High School wrestling ... I couldn't wait to hear. Love the pictures, pickups, guitars, fishing. This is incredible stuff. Thanks to you and your team for the stories.
